Store Return & Exchange Policy
We hope you love your order — but just in case something isn't quite right, we've made it easy to make a return or exchange.
Our Policy: In addition to your legal rights, we allow you to return merchandise for a variety of reasons in accordance with the below policy.
If the merchandise is in its original condition, you may return and/or exchange it, subject to the terms of the policy at the location processing the return. Returns in Europe are subject to the terms below.
Merchandise in original condition may be returned and/or exchanged at a Hollister Co. store location within the same country of purchase. You also cannot return merchandise by mailing it to our stores. Purchases made at an outlet location may only be returned in an outlet location for the same brand in the same country.
We do not accept returns of the following items:
- Female swim bottoms if the hygiene liner has been removed
- Female underwear, including individual units and packs (if removed from their box or packaging)
- Male underwear, including individual units and packs (if removed from their box or packaging)
Returns with Original Receipt: Within 30 days of purchase, you will receive a full refund of the value of the merchandise based on the original form and amount of payment.
Gold Status Hollister House Rewards members receive an additional 30 days, for a total of 60 days to make returns. Returns made within 60 days will receive a full refund to the original payment method. • To qualify you must already be at VIP status on the date you placed your order.
Returns with a Valid Gift Receipt or Exchange Receipt: You will receive merchandise credit based on the original amount of payment.
Returns Without a Receipt: We do not accept returns or exchanges without a receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.
Promotional Returns: If part or all of the qualifying purchase from a promotional offer period is returned and results in the original transaction falling below the qualifying purchase threshold, the return amount or, if applicable, any promotional card, coupon, etc., will be reduced to reflect the terms of the promotional offer you would have qualified for in the original transaction without the merchandise returned.
Gift Cards: Gift card sales are final. Gift cards and merchandise credits cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law. Note, gift cards may not be available in every country.
Your Legal Rights: When you buy goods from us, you have a number of rights as a consumer by law. These rights include remedies such as the right to claim a refund and/or replacement where the goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Holiday Return Policy: With the original receipt, merchandise purchased between November 1 and December 31 may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price in the original form of payment through January 31 the following year.
